Where It All Began:
​Fault Cave

In 2015, Josh, his childhood friends John and Ethan, and another friend of John's went spelunking in Fault Cave near Idaho Springs. For John, this was business as usual. Adventure came pretty natural to him, thus the name "Adventure Pill". For Josh, this was pretty new, he was used to making videos in the comfort of home. Ethan had done some caving before on some school field-trips and summer camps.

What resulted was an idea, to get friends together and go on adventures together. That was it, no muss, no fuss. This idea would soon be tested, when the original group, plus one Levi "The Elven Archer" who was another childhood friend of Josh's, would get together to form the original Adventure Squad-- er, I guess that username was taken already... so AdvntrSquad! A video was filmed (but never released) of the squad going up to Levi's family cabin in Estes Park for the first time, and hiking up  to a nearby cabin to camp the night. You can read about that trip, largely referred to as our first Adventure, in this post from our blog!

After that, the group had a taste for new and exciting Adventures, so in December of 2016, they would embark on a trip that would truly set things into motion, The Ultimate Vlog! This trip was the first time we all decided to make a video together, not just one person shooting and editing independently for their own YouTube Channel.
